Year of Light – 12th April – 31st December – Bell Rock boat trips to the Inchcape Rock to view the Bell Rock Lighthouse at close view, trips run subject to weather conditions.
Kirriemuir 22nd April – 27th April 12noon – 5pm – Children how about visiting Peter Pan’s garden he cannot solve the puzzle of the rabbit’s name! Peter wants all his pirates, Wendy’s and Tinkerbells to find all the letters in the garden to make the rabbit’s name. The prize is an Easter Egg, to every child who solves the puzzle.

Sea Festival - 8th and 9th August this is an annual festival, along Arbroath’s seafront. It celebrates the town’s maritime heritage, including the famous Arbroath Smokie, which has the same protected status as champagne.
The Hairst - which runs through from July through August, is a summer Festival of traditional Scottish culture. It focuses on series of outdoor lunchtime performances in each of Angus’s burghs and a programme of traditional music sessions in hotels and pubs, as well as the Arbroath theatre, these are all free.
The Smokie Blues International Festival - another free event – 14th – 16th August and boasts a superb line-up of Blues, R & B, Jazz, Rock & Roll and Cajun music from home and overseas. Topping the bill are leading acts : ‘The British Blues All Stars, AND ‘Nina Van Hom’. Local cajun band, ‘Boogalusa’ will demonstrate why they have a dedicated band of fans.
Angus is steeped in history and played a role in the formation and history of the Scottish nation when the Declaration of Arbroath was signed in 1320. Before all this Circhenn was the premier provence and heartland of the Ancient Pictish Kingdom.
